Yes, autopay is available at all locations. You can set it up yourself by logging in to your account from the Pay My Bill page, or set it up when you move in and your facility manager can enroll you. Autopay ensures you never miss a payment and helps avoid late fees.
If your payment is late, a late fee will be applied to your account. After a period of non-payment, your unit may be subject to a lien in accordance with state law. If you’re having trouble making a payment, contact your facility manager — we’re happy to work with you.
Tenant insurance or a protection plan is required at all of our locations. Store Here offers affordable tenant protection plans starting at just a few dollars per month to help safeguard your belongings against covered losses.
The right size depends on what you’re storing. A 5×5 unit is great for small items like boxes, seasonal decorations, and a few pieces of small furniture. A 10×10 fits the contents of a one-bedroom apartment. A 10×15 handles a two-bedroom apartment, and a 10×20 or larger is ideal for a full home, vehicle, or business inventory. Place heavier items on the bottom and lighter items on top. Use uniform box sizes for easier stacking. Leave a small walkway for access to items in the back. Wrap fragile items in bubble wrap or packing paper, and never store anything directly on the floor — use pallets or shelving.
No. Food, plants, and other perishable items should never be stored in a storage unit. These items can attract pests and cause damage to your belongings and the facility.
Prohibited items include hazardous, toxic, flammable, or explosive materials; gasoline, fuel, propane (including empty propane containers), fireworks, chemicals, firearms and ammunition, illegal items or contraband, marijuana, prescription medications, alcohol, lithium batteries, tires, gas- or petroleum-powered equipment, food unless approved in writing, animal feed or seed, live animals, and other items that may create a safety hazard, foul odor, or risk to the facility. Additional restrictions apply under your Rental Agreement. Contact the facility manager if you have questions about a specific item.
